An auspicious beginning

As I begin my journey in blogosphere, what better way than to post a picture of Lord Ganesha or Vignaharta...the remover of all obstacles...many in India begin anything new or significant by bowing to this elephant headed deity...praise be to him!
This is the picture of an idol that sits on my work desk.
