Sunset at Pimpalgaon Joga Lake, Malshej Ghat |
The year 2010 may have come to an end, but the time to look back and enjoy some of the great moments of 2010 has only just begun! The advantage a photographer has is that he / she can capture those moments and present them with his / her own unique perspective.
In an effort to share with you some of the sights / moments I have been privileged to witness in 2010, I have put together a compilation of some of my Best clicks of 2010. This compilation is based on both viewer feedback received on Flickr as well as my discretion. Every picture is like a baby and it is difficult to chose the better one. Hence, I have taken the liberty and been generous with my pickings.
Here is the link to the gallery - My favourite clicks in 2010
There's another interesting compilation that I have put together, titled the People of India. It is a collection of mostly street photographs and a few self-portraits (ahem!). Not all are from the year 2010, but most are. In case you are interested, you can see them Here .
I hope you have a great time viewing them. Please feel free to comment on the pictures. In case you come across a picture, which in your opinion, does not deserve to be in the gallery then do let me know since it would help me in trimming the gallery.
As an aside, 2010 was the second year of 'My Bioscope' and during this year it went from being merely a photo-blog to a travel & photography blog. Consequently the readership and hits ('eyeballs' as they say in Silicon Valley) have also gone up. Today a bulk of our readers come via search engines. I would also like to personally thank each one of you who has been reading 'My Bioscope' regularly - through Google Followers, Facebook Fan page, RSS Feed, Bookmarks, etc. and I look forward to your continued patronage...!
Cheers to 2011! May you all have a wonderful, healthy and a fun filled year ahead :)

I like your website design. And your collection on flickr is lovely too. Happy to connect with you.
Thanks so much Mayank! I am glad you liked my blog and images :)
Too good, how come the colors look so bright?
Thank you so much Mr. Ayyangar for the vote and leaving behind a comment :)
Sir, the brightness is a function of three things -
1) Assessing the conditions on hand and imagining the way one would want the picture to look.
2) Based on 1), creative use of camera settings which comes from a good understanding of the equipment, and
3) just the right amount of post-processing on the RAW image
Wonderful capture on the night sky
